About the expert:
Engineer Dina El Sady has approximately 14 years of experience in consulting and design, specializing in building design and construction. Her expertise extends to sustainability, green building design, solid waste management, and various aspects such as design coordination, preparation of technical specification reports, and bill of quantities (BOQ).
Additionally, she is a certified LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) expert by the U.S. Green Building Council and an EDGE (Excellence in Design for Greater Efficiencies) expert accredited by the International Finance Corporation.
Ms. Dina El Sady currently holds the position of Technical Head at Consult Integral, a leading environmental and sustainability consulting firm in the market since 2004, She joined the company in 2017 as a sustainability specialist and was promoted to lead the technical team in 2022.
Throughout her career, Engineer Dina has worked on numerous projects involving green buildings and solid waste management design in Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar. She served as a green building expert, supporting several projects in Qatar to achieve GSAS certification, including the Lusail Sky Tower Waterfront and Khalifa Stadium projects, before the 2022 World Cup.
In 2023, she managed the project "Assessment of Green Building Markets in Egypt," funded by the International Finance Corporation, the study focused on summarizing the context of the green building industry in Egypt, regulatory frameworks, EDGE certification issuance plans, government initiatives promoting green buildings and energy-efficient construction industries, potential growth in the green building sector in Egypt.
